Stab High
Concept art for the Stab Magazine’s second ‘Stab High’ event in Waco, Texas. Stab ultimately went in another direction with the artwork, so here’s how far I got with it.
The event takes place in a wave pool, and there is an intermission for a smaller contest, The Acid Drop.
Stab High: Redemption Round
In 2021 I was given the opportunity to design the contest art for realsies.
Forgoing the wavepool, this contest took place in Central America and featured the Monster Air contest as well as a Ladybirds component, where younger female surfers got a change to shine.
